So I chose to alight at Bedok Int instead of my usual bustop, since I need to top up my card anyway.
I walked away from the top-up station and one of the staff said, "Can you help me?"
I didn't know who she was talking to so I just turned and clearly she was talking to me.
Turns out she wanted me to help one blind malay man direct the way to bus svc 40.
So I approached the man and asked, "Pakcik, pakcik nak gi tmpt bus 40 eh?"
And then he looked shocked and asked me how I know, what's my name, where I'm schooling, whether I'm going back to Woodlands.
The unique thing abt him was that he made me laugh just a few seconds after I met him.
Another unique thing abt him was he asked my mother's name instead of my dad..
I mean, our names are linked to our dad, yet he didnt ask. Yknowhat I mean?
Turns out he lives at Woodlands and always come to Bedok Int to go Siglap.
I, on the other hand, lives at Bedok but am schooling at Woodlands. Hahaha.
He's a nice old man :)
But, I totally forgot to ask him his name.
I thanked Allah for giving me the opportunity to meet this man :D
Tangan yang memberi lebih mulia daripada tangan yang menerima :)
[But of course I wasnt holding his hand, but his walking stick.]
And I'm happy! :D
Somebody (I forgot who) asked me, "Apa 'pahala' in English eh?"
Do you know? (:
